Abstract: In this presentation, a recent study on the generational differences in car-related attitudes and behaviours is briefly introduced. In this study, a multiple-group analysis framework is applied taking into account the measurement invariance across groups. Relevant theories are adopted in developing the modelling structure among psychological and behavioural factors. Data are derived from a travel diary sample survey conducted in 2016 in the city of Beijing, China.
